Abstract

Esta publicación busca contribuir al debate sobre las alternativas de política para reducir el bimonetarismo en Argentina. Para hacerlo, hará un repaso de la literatura (tanto teórica como empírica) y de las principales propuestas relacionadas. Se propone una agenda consistente con la desdolarización, que se base en la experiencia regional y que pueda implementarse en paralelo a otras medidas para la estabilización general de la economía. Esta agenda incrementaría los márgenes de maniobra para ejecutar políticas económicas, al recuperar paulatinamente las funciones del peso como moneda.
