Uso del agua subterránea para riego: visiones desde la actividad agrícola en Balcarce

Abstract

Mundialmente la agricultura utiliza 70% del agua dulce disponible y en las últimas décadas, también en Argentina, se aceleraron los procesos de intensificación productiva, ejerciendo mayor demanda sobre el recurso. El objetivo propuesto es analizar, desde las prácticas agrícolas alrededor del uso del agua subterránea, el "sistema de riego" en el partido de Balcarce (Buenos Aires). Para ello se realizaron entrevistas abiertas y semi-estructuradas a actores sociales relevantes y se desarrollará el método Delphi sobre las problemáticas identificadas. Del análisis de las interacciones entre los diferentes actores se evidencian prácticas productivistas y de corto plazo, con escasa prioridad a la sustentabilidad del agua y suelo.
