Caracterización de la pesca artesanal de la Provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

Es notorio que el crecimiento del sector se produjo de manera tal que, a pesar de su magnitud hoy exhibe resultados no deseados, y un importante desfasaje en la interacción de los subsistemas que componen el sistema pesquero artesanal. Este desfasaje entre los subsistemas se acentúa en época de crisis con graves consecuencias económicas y sociales para el sector y la región en que se inserta. No es posible determinar estas crisis, ni medir confiablemente su incidencia pues no se ha realizado, hasta el momento, una investigación metódica y sistemática del sistema pesquero artesanal. En este trabajo se realiza una caracterización de la pesquería artesanal de la provincia de Buenos Aires y un análisis FODA con el objeto de realizar una propuesta integral de desarrollo para el Sector Artesanal.
