Flexibilidad empresarial y organización del trabajo doméstico: el trabajo invisible de las hijas de las fileteras en Mar del Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la interacción entre el proceso de precarización laboral, atravesado por la industria pesquera en la década de 1990 y la división sexual del trabajo en el interior de los hogares. Esta última ha sido objeto de diversidad de estudios académicos en torno a la organización del trabajo doméstico entre los miembros adultos del hogar, y en especial de las parejas heterosexuales. Aquí se aborda un fenómeno menos explorado, el trabajo doméstico de niñas y adolescentes en sus hogares de origen. A partir de dos historias de vida, atravesamos las experiencias que se construyen en torno a unas desigualdades de clase y de género que coartan las posibilidades de ascenso social de las jóvenes en situaciones de pobreza.
