La asignación universal por hijo. El régimen de asignaciones familiares frente a la fragmentación del mercado de trabajo

Abstract

En los últimos años, en Argentina se han producido transformaciones fundamentales en materia de seguridad social, con políticas que buscaron ampliar la cobertura del sistema, ante la evidencia de un mercado de trabajo fragmentado. En este documento nos centramos en una de estas políticas, la Asignación Universal por Hijo (AUH), entendida como un paso más en la ampliación de la seguridad social hacia los hogares excluidos. El objetivo es contribuir a la caracterización de la AUH y a la medición de su impacto sobre las condiciones de vida de la población.
