Dinámica empresarial en la industria argentina. Un análisis provincial para el período 2003-2008

Abstract

La recuperación económica observada en la Argentina a partir de 2003 ha implicado no sólo un crecimiento de las empresas que sobrevivieron a la crisis, sino también elevadas tasas de nacimientos. En este marco, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar los principales procesos referidos a la demografía de empresas industriales (entradas, salidas y cambios de tamaño) en el nivel provincial en el período 2003-2008 y compararlo con lo observado en el nivel nacional. Se analizan, para diferentes grupos de provincias, los procesos de apertura y cierre de empresas, el impacto neto en el stock de firmas industriales, el cambio entre estratos de tamaño y la incidencia de las nuevas empresas en la estructura productiva. Se presenta además la dinámica de entrada y salida de empresas por provincia según la rama de actividad industrial, a fin de identificar cuáles fueron las actividades industriales que lideraron el proceso de expansión.
