Abstract
Suggested Citation
Note: This paper, which is a development of chapter 3 of Allen (2020), is part of a programme of research into Poland’s relationship with the international monetary system in the inter-war period that I am conducting in collaboration with Dr Thea Don-Siemion of Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. I am extremely grateful to Dr Thea Don-Siemion and to a reviewer for perceptive and valuable comments and helpful discussions. Errors of fact and interpretation are mine alone.
