Abstract

Dans Cette Etude, Nous Examinons le Comportement Regional des Salaires au Canada. Apres Avoir Rappele les Principaux Resultats Disponibles Sur Cette Question, Nous Specifions Diverses Equations de Comportement de Salaires Par Region. L'estimation a Ete Faite a Partir de Diverses Sources de Donnees Sur les Salaires. les Resultats Supportent L'hypothese de L'existence des Marches Regionaux du Travail Ou les Variations de Salaires Sont Affectees Par les Conditions Locales de la Conjoncture. de Plus, les Changements Dans les Salaires Face a une Modification des Conditions Locales de la Conjoncture Varient D'une Region a L'autre. Par Ailleurs, les Elasticites des Salaires a L'inflation Anticipee Sont Aussi Regionalement Differentiees. Enfin, on Ne Retrouve Aucun Effet Significatif de Retombee Salariale Entre les Regions. En Conclusion , les Politiques Macroeconomiques de Stabilisation et les Programmes de Transfert et D'aide aux Regions Devraient Tenir Compte au Niveau Regional de Ces Differences de Comportement des Salaires.
