Abstract

On Peut Diviser les Etudes Sur les Effets des Greves Sur les Salaires En Deux Categories. Certains Auteurs Ont Tente de Mesurer L'effet de L'activite de Greve, Vue Comme un Indicateur du "Militantisme Syndical" Ou de la "Pression Syndicale", Sur L'evolution des Salaires. L'hypothese Commune a Toutes Ces Etudes Est Que L'activite de Greve a un Effet Positif Sur L'evolution des Salaires. D'autres Etudes, Utilisant Generalement des Donnes Microeconomique, Tentent de Voir Si les Ententes Salariales Signees Apres une Greve Sont Differentes de Celles Signees Sans Greve. on Fait Generalement L'hypothese Dans Ces Etudes Que les Ententes Salariales Signees Apres une Greve Seront Generalement Plus Elevees Que les Autres Ententes Salariales. Dans le Present Article, Nous Montrons: (1) Que les Fondements Theoriques du Premier Groupe D'etudes Sont Pour le Moins Fragiles, (2) Que Toutes Autres Choses Etant Egales Par Ailleurs et Pour un Grand Nombre de Cas, L'entente Salariale Moyenne Signee Apres une Greve Sera Ou Bien Egale Ou Plus Faible Que la Moyenne des Autres Ententes Salariales Negociees. Cette Conclusion Est Differente de L'hypothese Faite Dans Toutes les Etudes Portant Sur L'effet de la Greve Sur les Salaires.
