Predicting High-Cost Pediatric Patients: Derivation and Validation of a Population-Based Model

Abstract

This paper develops and validates a predictive model that prospectively identifies low- and moderate- income children with high health care needs, with the ultimate goal of facilitating early detection and appropriate management for this population.
