Best Bets for Reducing Medicare Costs for Dual Eligible Beneficiaries: Assessing the Evidence

Abstract

This study reviews prior pilot projects and demonstrations for dual eligibles—those receiving both Medicare and Medicaid benefits—and finds support for modest Medicare savings through well-targeted interventions.
