O Alcance Da Politica Urbana De Mairiporã

Abstract

O território do Município de Mairiporã, parte dos mananciais do norte da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (RMSP), está inserido nas Áreas de Proteção e Recuperação do Alto Juquery (APRM-AJ). É considerada zona periférica da mancha urbana metropolitana. As Taxas Médias de Crescimento Anual (TGCA) IBGE/CENSO 2010, mostram o alto crescimento da área. A urbanização de núcleos dispersos neste território amplia o desmatamento e impermeabilização do solo. No entanto, espera-se que a política urbana iniciada com a aprovação da Lei 297/2006, (Plano Diretor), recentemente revisado, traga melhorias ambientais. Este artigo apresenta uma análise dos resultados desta política através da busca de externalidades das proposições constantes no PD 2006/2015 que incidam positivamente sobre a melhoria do meio ambiente e sobre a qualidade da água do Reservatório Engenheiro Paulo de Paiva Castro.11.
