Abstract

Minha Casa Minha Vida, MCMV é um Programa do Governo Federal, gerido pelo Ministério das Cidades e operacionalizado pela Caixa, que prevê a contratação de três milhões de unidades habitacionais no período de 2010 a 2014, sendo 1 milhão previsto na primeira fase e, 2 milhões na segunda fase. Este artigo expõe uma visão geral do MCMV do ponto de vista de sua engenharia apontando as principais dificuldades em conciliar os seus objetivos quantitativos com a necessidade de se garantir sua qualidade.
