Análise do Programa Habitacional “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” e comparação com iniciativas mexicanas implantadas no governo Calderón

Abstract

O trabalho é uma análise do programa habitacional "Minha Casa Minha Vida", apresentado pelo Governo Federal, e que tem como objetivo reduzir o déficit habitacional brasileiro e servir como medida anticíclica no âmbito econômico mais geral. Experiências bem sucedidas em outras nações emergentes indicam que muitos avanços podem ser alcançados na área habitacional, e essas experiências poderiam ter sido utilizadas pelo Programa em exame. Em muitos casos de sucesso, uma sólida estrutura institucional e de créditos para as famílias de renda mais baixa esteve nas bases das políticas. O trabalho pretender aportar subsídios para avaliação e aprimoramento das soluções adotadas, tendo por base experiências anteriores de países de economia emergente, como aconteceu no México.
