Vergleich von XML-Datenbanken

Abstract

In der Fachstudie wurden verschiedene XML-Datenbanken verglichen. Dabei wurden sowohl native als auch \"XML-enabled\" Datenbanken betrachtet. Um einen objektiven Vergleich zu erreichen wurden verschiedene Kriterien ausgearbeitet und geprüft inwiefern diese von den getesteten Datenbanken erfüllt wurden. In einem weitern Schritt wurden XML-Dokumente erzeugt, die typischerweise in Service orientierten Architekturen auftreten, um zu testen ob und wie sich die Datenbanken als Grundlage zur Implementierung eines Enterprise Service Repository eignen. Abschließend wurde eine Nutzwertanalyse durchgeführt und zu ermitteln welche der getesteten Datenbanken die beste Grundlage für die Implementierung eines Enterprise Service Repository bietet.
