Risikomanagement und aktionärsorientierte Unternehmenssteuerung - Mehr Fragen als Antworten -

Abstract

Risikomanagement gehört zu den Grundaufgaben moderner Unternehmensführung. Seine Bedeutung im Lichte von Globalisierung, volatileren Märkten und steigendem Regulierungsdruck im Finanzsektor (z. B. Basel II) wird weiter zunehmen. Das betriebswirtschaftliche Schrifttum und die universitäre Lehre tragen dem in Gestalt von Hedging-Modellen für risikoaverse Entscheider Rechnung. In aktionärsorientierten Unternehmen mit genuin risikofreudigen Shareholdern liegt die positive Rolle des Risikomanagements weniger auf der Hand. Der Beitrag rekapituliert, kategorisiert und konkretisiert entsprechende Literaturansätze. Deren Vorhersagen halten einer risikotheoretischen Konkretisierung aber nicht Stand. Der Befund hinterlässt für die Rolle von Risikomanagement bei aktionärsorientierter Unternehmenssteuerung mehr Fragen als Antworten.
