Hochschule und Hochtechnologie: Jenaer Forschungspartnerschaften im Spiegel der Patentstatistik

Abstract

Die Technologieregion Jena ist geprüft durch eine Vielzahl klein- und mittelständischer Unternehmen sowie eine Reihe von Forschungseinrichtungen, die in den Bereichen Medizin-, Mess-, Steuer- und Regelungstechnik sowie Optik tätig sind. Dabei spielt die Verbindung aller Akteure in einem Netzwerk von Technologiepartnerschaften eine entscheidende Rolle. Dem folgenden Beitrag liegt eine Recherche der Schutzrechtsanmeldungen Jenaer Institutionen fr die Jahre 1990 bis 2002 zugrunde. Es wurden kooperationsbedingte Patentanmeldungen mindestens zweier Jenaer Partner analysiert. Die Analyseergebnisse zeigen die Bedeutung von Kooperationen zwischen Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen, weisen auf dominante Kooperationspartner innerhalb der Region hin und erlauben eine Zuordnung zu Technologiegebieten anhand der IPC-Klassifizierung, so dass ein verlässliches Abbild der Kooperationspartnerschaften und Forschungsfelder gewonnen wird.
