Das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen: Der löchrige Traum vom Schlaraffenland

Abstract

Die Idee des bedingungslosen Grundeinkommens hat inzwischen zahlreiche prominente Unterstützer. Dabei gibt es weder schlüssige Finanzierungskonzepte, noch können realitätsferne Experimente darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass fehlende Arbeits- und Bildungsanreize das Vorhaben zu einem gewaltigen gesellschaftlichen Risiko machen würden. Empirisch ebenso wenig fundiert ist das Argument, die Digitalisierung mache das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen angesichts eines massiven Rückgangs der Arbeitsnachfrage unabdingbar. Trotz guter Intentionen kann das Konzept daher weder durch seine innere Logik noch durch seine externe Begründungslogik überzeugen.
