Desempenho e Crescimento do Agronegócio no Brasil

Abstract

O presente trabalho discute os fatores que impulsionam e diferenciam o crescimentodo agronegócio no Brasil. Estão subjacentes a essa preocupação as perguntas sobre qualé o modelo de crescimento do agronegócio e quais são os fatores associados ao seu desempenho.O trabalho parte de indicadores que mostram o desempenho e a importânciadesse segmento e mostra em seguida um painel de reformas de políticasmacroeconômicas e setoriais que formam o cenário sobre o qual as atividades produtivasorganizaram-se nos últimos anos. Adiante, são analisados os principais fatores explicativosdo sucesso do agronegócio como Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento, Financiamentoe Organização do Agronegócio; finalmente, inferem-se algumas lições do desempenhodesse importante segmento da economia brasileira.
