International labour migration from Bangladesh : a decent work perspective

Abstract

Assesses developments in short-term international migration of Bangladeshi to Arab and other countries in the period 1976 to 2003. Considers opportunities in finding employment, contrasted by issues of exploitation and basic labour rights.
