Bonded labour in agriculture : a rapid assessment in Punjab and north west frontier province, Pakistan

Abstract

Reviews the agrarian structure and tenancy arrangements in two provinces of Pakistan, examines characteristics of the rural labour force and agricultural labour systems and investigates evidence of bonded labour. Puts forward suggestions for future research.
