Abstract

Working paper on employment and choice of technology in agricultural machinery and other small scale industries in Bangladesh - examines industrial structure, industrial workers' age, sex, educational level, on the job training and working conditions; reviews capital investment, productivity, sources and availability of raw materials, financing and marketing problems; discusses technology transfer. Statistical tables.
