Technological change, production organisation and rural women in Kenya

Abstract

Working paper on relationships between choice of technology, division of labour, and the social status and low income of rural women in Kenya - covers land tenure, farm size, rural employment, sex discrimination, etc., concentrating on self employed heads of household, and recommends more educational opportunity and technological change instead of special intermediate technology for women. Bibliography pp. 48 to 54.
