Abstract

Working paper on data collecting and data analysis for the study of relationships between migration, technological change and agricultural production - discusses major mechanisms by which migration affects and is affected by technological change, indicates information needs to quantify these effects, and presents sample questionnaires for three survey modules to cover (1) small farming enterprises, (2) cottage industries, and (3) attitudes of family members concerning effects on farm or non-farm family enterprise.
