Abstract

ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper analysing the impact of guaranteed income programmes on families and individuals in Canada having low income or suffering from poverty - estimates overall level of poverty in 1975, considers factors of family size, wages of married women, and benefits in relation to poverty patterns, and presents comparison of incomes maintenance efficiency with Norway, Australia and the UK.
