Abstract

ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper using a basic needs simulation model to determine future economic policy and social policy orientations in India to the year 2000 - investigates social development, demographic aspects and economic development trends in terms of export promotion alternatives of consumer goods and capital goods, directed either to developing countries or developed countries, and considers further development of the model accounting for prices, balance of payments, etc. Flow charts, graphs and references.
