Abstract

Working paper on effects of agricultural equipment and cultivation technique innovations (choice of technology) on agricultural development and agricultural employment in the Mazabuka district, Zambia - examines the impact of maize hybridization and tractor agricultural mechanization on development and in relation to agricultural income, agricultural production and rural area employment creation; draws conclusions for agricultural policy.
