ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper exploring alternative energy sources for power generation and mechanization of low-lift irrigation pumps in Bangladesh and Egypt - compares usage and costs of man and animal powered pumps, engine and electric powered pumps, and pumps driven by water, wind power and solar energy.
