Abstract

Working paper on the effects of multinational enterprises on employment in India - outlines the evolution of foreign investment policy, taxation, employment of expatriate workers, etc., notes research methodology, and concludes that while the impact of multinationals on employment is insignificant, their production exclusiveness with regard to specific products is substantial.
