Abstract

Working paper on income distribution effects of employment creation schemes in the public works sector in India - comprises cost benefit analysis of labour intensive agricultural projects in road construction, irrigation, soil conservation, etc., and estimates profits accruing to landless agricultural workers, landowners, skilled workers, unskilled workers, etc. References and statistical tables.
