Inestabilidad estructural en Argentina: un informe de políticas

Abstract

(Disponible en idioma inglés únicamente) El autor identifica fuentes de inseguridad en Argentina que incluyen débiles vínculos financieros internacionales, un problema recurrente de restricción del crédito y subdesarrollo financiero, una situación fiscal frágil y un mecanismo generalizado de utilidad y restricción de garantías provocada por la rigidez del mercado laboral y el sistema cambiario. Las recomendaciones de políticas que se presentan en este documento incluyen el mejoramiento de los vínculos financieros externos, la continuidad y aceleración de la profundización financiera interna, el otorgamiento de una elevada prioridad a la reducción del problema de la carga de la deuda pública y la resolución de la incompatibilidad fundamental entre la rigidez del mercado laboral y un sistema cambiario altamente inflexible.
