Abstract

Comprende tres estudios de caso referidos a las empresas de maquinaria agrícola en Venezuela, tales como: Rota Agro, Tanapo y Nardi. Analiza, en cada una de ellas, la evolución tecnológica de la firma, los factores que la determinan y la incidencia que tiene su conducta en la posición relativa en el mercado. Presenta reflexiones, derivadas de los estudios de caso, sobre la interacción entre el desarrollo de las formas del mercado y la naturaleza y distinto énfasis que dedican las empresas durante su evolución al esfuerzo tecnológico en cada una de las aéreas técnicas de ingeniería de diseño, proceso de producción y de organización industrial.
