Políticas de apoyo a la pequeña empresa en 13 países de América Latina

Abstract

El presente estudio complementa el conjunto de iniciativas de análisis e intercambio de información sobre políticas de PyME que viene desarrollando el Banco desde mediados de la década pasada. El objetivo es sistematizar y difundir información sobre los organismos encargados de elaborar la política PyME en cada uno de los países de la región, los tipos de programas que dichos organismos han establecido y las posibles tendencias futuras de la política de desarrollo empresarial. Para la elaboración del presente trabajo se realizó una encuesta dirigida a responsables de política de las principales instituciones de apoyo a la PyME de los países América Latina y el Caribe. La información recolectada a través de la encuesta fue complementada con datos adicionales obtenidos a través de Internet. Como fruto de este proceso se logró cubrir el análisis de instituciones de apoyo a PyME de los siguientes países: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Paraguay, República Dominicana y Uruguay.
