Abstract

El presente documento es una síntesis de los aspectos prioritarios más relevantes para la subregión Andina, los logros alcanzados en los últimos años y los retos y oportunidades que ésta enfrentará en el futuro. Su objetivo es constituirse en un insumo para la toma de decisiones, a través del conocimiento de líneas de acción y experiencias particulares a cada país, cuyo intercambio pueda beneficiar la política y gestión de sus vecinos, y la identificación de temas comunes que puedan constituir una agenda de colaboración. Este perfil ejecutivo fue comisionado por la Red de Medio Ambiente del Diálogo Regional de Política para la 1a Reunión: Hacia una Gestión Ambiental Eficaz, celebrada los días 4 y 5 de abril, 2002.
