La negociación Mineduc-Colegio de Profesores: Chile 2000: Una visión personal

Abstract

Este texto narra la negociación del año 2000 entre el gobierno de Chile, liderada por el Ministerio de Educación, y el gremio docente, conducido por el Colegio de Profesores. Se describen las estrategias empleadas por ambos actores y cómo finalmente arribaron a concordar iniciativas educacionales trascendentes para el desarrollo de la Reforma Educativa y de la profesión docente. La negociación logró imponer la cooperación por sobre el conflicto, no se quedó en la reivindicación salarial y encontró ámbitos de trabajo decisivos para mejorar, en conjunto, la calidad, la equidad y la participación en el sistema escolar. Este trabajo fue preparado para la 9a Reunión del Diálogo Regional de Política, Red de Educación, BID.
