La institucionalidad de las políticas y los programas de reducción de pobreza en América Latina

Abstract

Este documento fue comisionado por la Red de Reducción de la Pobreza y Protección Social del Diálogo Regional de Política para la 8a Reunión Hemisférica celebrada los días 24 y 25 de abril de 2006. El estudio argumenta la necesidad de estrategias ajustadas a las características de cada sociedad; presenta (y diferencia) las dimensiones que afectan la factibilidad y conveniencia de distintas políticas de reducción de la pobreza y desarrolla la citada metodología para el análisis de la institucionalidad del combate a la pobreza, definiendo los supuestos centrales, las variables de análisis y las características del sistema y los subsistemas que estructuran esta institucionalidad.
