Diversificación de la economía rural en Taiwán

Abstract

El presente documento trata sobre la agricultura de Taiwán, que ha disfrutado de un desarrollo rápido desde la reforma agraria de 1949-1953 con muy buenos resultados. La economía rural ha mejorado considerablemente, el desarrollo agrícola se ha convertido en uno de los factores más importantes que facilitan el desarrollo rápido de las industrias rurales. En contraste con otros países en vías de desarrollo, Taiwán utilizó el desarrollo agrícola para estimular el crecimiento y el desarrollo en el sector industrial y en otros sectores económicos. Ambos sectores, el agrícola y la industria han jugado un papel importante en el desarrollo económico de Taiwán y han contribuido a la reducción de la pobreza rural.
