Abstract

"New data from the IAB Establishment Panel shows that 9 percent of all establishments in Germany have fallen victim to an espionage attack in the past five years. Approximately half of all reported suspected cases are hacker attacks on IT systems. Innovative and exporting companies in competitive markets are particularly often affected by economic or industrial espionage." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
