Abstract

"The impacts of the Russian war against Ukraine slow down the recovery of the German labor market. Employment rises in all federal states only slightly. However, we expect a weaker employment growth in urban regions than compared to rural areas. At the same time, we observe an increase in unemployment in almost every federal state."
