Abstract

"In the German labour market jobs with medium and high qualification requirements dominate. In addition, there are a number of unskilled and semi-skilled jobs that are paid comparatively low wages on average. However, this does not apply to all of them. In certain constellations, trained skilled workers can earn higher wages in unskilled and semi-skilled jobs than in their learned profession." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
