Abstract

"This brief report focuses on the development of the labour market up to 2025. The demographic impact on labour supply and demand is shown as well as important industrial trends. Furthermore the forecast differentiates between the eastern and western parts of Germany. All in all, a shrinking labour supply and an almost stable labour demand could lead to a visible reduction in unemployment." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
