Abstract

"Der Kurzbericht zu den Personal-Service-Agenturen (PSA) berichtet über die Strukturen und die Verleiheinsätze der PSA-Beschäftigten. Knapp 1.000 Personal-Service-Agenturen mit rund 30.000 Beschäftigten sind derzeit (November 2003) am Markt tätig. Vergleicht man die sozio-ökonomischen Eigenschaften der PSA-Beschäftigten mit den Charakteristika der traditionellen Leiharbeiter, lassen sich vor allem bei den Jugendlichen und den Langzeitarbeitslosen strukturelle Unterschiede erkennen. Auch bieten die PSA Arbeitslosen mit gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen eine Chance. Am häufigsten fragt das Verarbeitende Gewerbe PSA-Beschäftigte nach." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
