IT-Arbeitsmarkt: Chancen am Ende des Booms

Abstract

Der IAB-Kurzbericht analysiert die Arbeitsmarktperspektiven von IT-Fachleuten, die jetzt von den Krisenerscheinungen in der Branche "Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik" (IKT) betroffen sind. Die Arbeitslosigkeit der IT-Fachleute ist in jüngster Zeit zwar stark gestiegen, aber immer noch relativ gering im Vergleich zu anderen Erwerbstätigen. Ihre Beschäftigungsaussichten bleiben vergleichsweise günstig, weil sie durch die große Verbreitung der IKT auch in anderen Branchen gefragt sind. Das gilt vor allem für "zertifizierte" Spezialisten. Dagegen zeichnet sich eine Verschlechterung der Situation für "Quereinsteiger" ohne einschlägigen Hochschul- oder Berufsabschluss ab - das Berufsfeld wird stärker professionalisiert. (IAB)
