Abstract

Seit dem 1. April 1999 gelten für die Sozialversicherung und Besteuerung der so genannten 630-DM-Jobs neue gesetzliche Regelungen. Sie haben, wie die IAB-Betriebsbefragung vom vierten Quartal 2000 zeigt, auf den Umfang der geringfügigen Beschäftigung im Ganzen wenig Einfluss gehabt, wohl aber auf die Struktur. So nahm die geringfügige Nebenbeschäftigung deutlich ab und die ausschließlich geringfügige Beschäftigung zu. Die meisten der befragten Betriebe gaben an, von der gesetzlichen Neuregelung nicht nennenswert betroffen zu sein. (IAB)
