Análisis De Incidencia Del Gasto Público En Educación Superior: Enfoque Transversal

Abstract

. Los estudios de incidencia del gasto, en su vertiente normativa, tratan de evaluar el impacto de un determinado gasto público en las rentas de los individuos en un momento determinado. El objetivo de este trabajo es aplicar la metodología comúnmente utilizada en los análisis de corte empírico a un tipo de gasto, como es el gasto en Educación Superior, recurriendo para ello al Panel de Hogares de la Unión Europea, para el año 1998, teniendo en cuenta tanto las limitaciones de la técnica, como posibles mejoras a aplicar en la misma. De este análisis se extraerán conclusiones acerca de la redistribución de renta que permite alcanzar este gasto, así como de las implicaciones de política económica derivadas.
