新型コロナ危機と経済政策

Abstract

新型コロナウイルス感染症というショックの経済的影響、望ましい政策対応に関する研究が進んでいる。本稿は、コロナ危機に関する経済分析を通じてわかってきたことを概観するとともに、経済政策への含意を考察する。感染拡大の疫学モデルと経済モデルを融合したシミュレーション・モデルが開発されるなど文理融合型の研究や、高頻度のビッグデータを利用した実証研究が急速に進んでいる。ただし、データの制約から感染率をはじめ政策シミュレーションに使用される重要なパラメーターの不確実性は大きい。また、日本の人口当たり感染者数・死亡者数が主要国に比べてはるかに少ない理由など未解明のことも多い。
