Populationen av nyföretagare i Sverige 1998 relativt ett stickprov av anställda

Abstract

Den här artikeln presenterar en datafil skapad för att bättre, än vad som är möjligt med befintlig officiell nyföretagarstatistik, förstå varför män och kvinnor startar företag. I kontrast till existerande undersökning om nya företag, vilken är speciellt utformad för att studera genuint nya företags kapacitetstillskott till ekonomin, är det med datafilen som beskrivs i den här artikeln möjligt att studera populationen av nyföretagare som startade 1998 uppdelat på demografiska grupper. Datafilen innehåller även en jämförelsegrupp av anställda samt matchade individvariabler för åren 1997 och 1998. En delmängd av inkluderade variabler i datafilen beskrivs och sammanfattas (en lista över alla variabler i datafilen redovisas). Artikeln avslutas med en kort presentation av planerade studier.
