Abstract

Cet article aborde la pluralité à partir de l'analyse des pratiques monétaires en mobilisant le concept de subsidiarité monétaire. Ce dernier caractérise l'usage d'une pluralité de monnaies dont les caractéristiques s'inscrivent dans un cadre territorial et socioéconomique spécifique. Nous nous focaliserons sur les monnaies alternatives afin d'interroger leurs articulations avec la monnaie officielle et les conditions permettant l'émergence d'une subsidiarité institutionnalisée.
