Abstract

The objective of this paper is to understand the factors likely to contribute to the success of digital transformation projects of Ivorian SMEs. To do this, we conducted a quantitative study with twenty-one companies whose representation turned out to be very rich. Thus, through the reconciliation between the analysis of the results of the survey and the conclusions of the review of the literature consulted, we have identified an alignment between the theoretical indicators which measure the perception and the factors of success mentioned by Ivorian actors , as well as the obstacles to the acceptance of digital technology by SMEs. This study therefore focused on investigating individual users' acceptance of digital technology through the TAM conceptual model. The results essentially revealed a positive attitude of the interviewees towards the implementation of digital transformation embodying three dimensions: technological, organizational and human. We also note that the success of digital transformation mainly depends on endogenous factors (qualified personnel, lack of funds, manager support, acceptance of technology, etc.) and exogenous factors linked to the institutional framework.
