Etude sur les accidents du travail dans la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude confiée au LEST visait à établir un diagnostic des accidents du travail jugés élevés en région PACA : 12,2 accidents avec arrêt travail pour 100 salariés en PACA et 8,4 accidents en moyenne en France en 1973, à formuler des pistes d'amélioration à la Commission de spécialistes du Conseil régional. Un ensemble d'entretiens a été menés auprès de professionnels du domaine : les inspecteurs du travail et le service prévention de la CRAM. L' étude s'est également portée sur deux branches d'activités réputées dangereuses : le bâtiment et la réparation navale. Il ressort que le taux élevé n'a pas trouvé son origine dans les secteurs économiques les plus dangereux ou dans la taille de l'entreprise. En revanche, l'étude constate que les accidents concernent pour 2/3 les travailleurs étrangers qui sont les plus exposés aux postes à risques.
